PSG wants both Messi and Ramos
Madrid star and captain Sergio Ramos is reported to be open to linking up Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain - according to El Chiringuito.
The Blancos have yet to offer Sergio Ramos a contract extension at Real Madrid, and as it currently stands, he will most probably drop into the free agency pool in the summer.
At the age of 34, it's quite conceivable that Ramos is eager to pursue a new challenge subsequent to winning every trophy available to him at Los Blancos, including but not limited to four Champions Leagues.
The Argentinian football legend Lionel Messi is in a quite similar boat at Camp Nou, with PSG being mooted as his most likely next destination right now, and the French champions appear to want Ramos to also join the six-time Ballon d'Or winner at Parc des Princes.
Much Like Ramos, the Barcelona captain - valued currently at £90m on Transfermarkt - is available on a free transfer this summer and he also appears quite unlikely to sign an extended contract at his current club of Barcelona.
The French giants are in dire need of an experienced head at center-back and Ramos just fits the bill marvelously.
They are also in need of a true scorer worthy of the club’s number 10 t-shirt and Lionel Messi fits the bill perfectly.
Nevertheless, do you wonder how PSG can be able to afford the additions of not only Ramos but also Messi next summer?
They won't cost a single penny in transfer fees apparently, but given the fact that they're two of the biggest athletes right now on the planet, the pair - like Neymar and Mbappe – they will most likely command enormous salaries.
The oil-rich Parisian club isn’t exactly strapped for cash; nonetheless, surely even they may struggle to satisfy the wage demands of so many high-profile athletes.
After all, French football has been seriously impacted by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. So we’ll have to wait to see if and how they can manage to have two football superstars added to their already great team!
