Good food to boost your immune system during Covid-19 pandemic

Right now more than ever before in the history of mankind, it's important for your immune system to stay in great shape during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. One of the greatest ways to stay fit and healthy is by maintaining a nutritionally rich diet.
To maintain proper health, it is a good idea to include the
following vitamins and macroingredient in your diet to significantly boost your
immune system:
Vitamin A
This vitamin helps with the health of your intestines as
well as your respiratory system. Some vitamin A-rich foods include carrots,
sweet potato, spinach, and of course broccoli.
Vitamin E
This vitamin promotes the neutralization of free radicals by
serving as an antioxidant. Some delicious foods full of vitamin E are vegetable
oils, nuts, and avocado.
Vitamin C
This nutrient (vitamin C) helps stimulate the creation of
antibodies. Citrus fruits, strawberries, red bell pepper and kiwi are all very
rich in vitamin C.
Zinc
There are a great many zinc-dependent enzymes in the human
body and the deficiency thereof has been linked with immune malfunction. Some Zinc-rich
foods are beans, seeds, nuts, meat, poultry, and seafood.
Protein
Protein is one of the three macroingredients found in food.
(The other two are fats and carbs). Specific amino acids that are found in
protein are very necessary for T-cell function, which are cells in charge of
protecting the body against pathogens. Meats, poultry, seafood, eggs, beans,
nuts, and seeds all have a great deal of protein.
These nutrients have been indicated to help the human immune
system work much more efficiently and effectively, but of course keep in mind
that too much of a good thing can be harmful.
Try to consume these nutrients in moderation. For instance,
if you eat way too many carrots, you may just turn orange! As always with stopping
the spread of illness, make sure that wash your hands frequently.
