Expatriates vote in Iran's presidential election in Tunisia

Iranian expatriates
in Tunisia vote in presidential election at the embassy of the Islamic Republic of
Iran in the Tunisian capital on Friday, June 19, when
the Iranian people cast their vote in presidential election inside Iran and in a number
of other countries around the world.
In addition to the families of the members of
the diplomatic staff of the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a number
of Iranian citizens and personnel of institutions based in Tunisia also take
part in the election.
The 13th Iranian
presidential election is being held nationwide and in 133 countries throughout the globe.
Some 59,310,307
Iranians are eligible to vote, from which 1.3 million are first-voters and 3.5
million are Iranians abroad, according to statistics from the Ministry of
Interior.
The 13th presidential election is held simultaneous with the sixth
round of city and village councils elections, the first mid-term for 11th
parliament’s by-election, and the second mid-term for the fifth Assembly of
Experts election.
