Iran’s pavilion at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai is off to a great start, receiving over 40,000 visitors in the first 10 days of the mega event.
A record 192 countries are represented at this year's Expo, up from 139 at the previous Expo in Milan.
Thousands of companies have a presence at the Expo, as they look to boost trade and investment.
The presence of this number of visitors to the Iranian pavilion indicates the appeal and richness of Iranian cultural and art.
Originally scheduled for October 2020, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will run from October 1 to March 31.
Iran’s pavilion is planned to showcase each province’s strengths and assets in tourism, cultural heritage, historical significance, handicrafts, as well as its natural wonders.
