Gen. Soleimani; a diplomat in the battlefield

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Qods Force Commander, Brigadier General Esmaeil Qaani said on Sunday that the late General Qasem Soleimani had made a good link between diplomacy and the battlefield.
Qaani was speaking in the commemoration ceremony of the second anniversary of former IRGC Qods Force Commander General Qasem Soleimani held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday.
He said that General Soleimani was pioneer in many areas, as he managed to make a good link between diplomacy and the battlefield. Qaani praised Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their cooperation with General Soleimani, adding that he had a faith-oriented understanding of politics.
Meanwhile, IRGC spokesman Ramezan Sharif said Sunday the United States must leave other regional countries following its ignominious pullout from Afghanistan. “The first recompense that the Americans must pay for the assassination of Martyr Soleimani is to leave the region with humiliation,” he said in the northwestern city of Urmia on Sunday.
“Just as the Americans left Afghanistan with humiliation, they must leave other regional countries,” he added.
Earlier on, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami said enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran attempt to diminish Iranians' self-confidence and induce them to feel like they are weak in order to push them to accept the West as superior and role model.
Salami made the remarks in a ceremony to launch third human trial of
Noora vaccine for coronavirus in Tehran on Sunday, urging all those who
have responsibility in the Islamic Republic to trust in capabilities of
Iran and Iranians to help make progress.
