West Ham sign Lyon Lucas Paqueta

West Ham have announced the "club record signing" of Brazil midfielder Lucas Paqueta on a five year contract.
The 25-year-old, who is expected to be part of the Brazil squad at this year's World Cup, has joined from Lyon.
The initial £36.5m deal for Paqueta could rise to more than £50m with potential add-ons - eclipsing the £45m signing of striker Sebastien Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2019.
Paqueta joined Lyon for €20m (£17m) in 2020 after 18 months at AC Milan.
"I hope it's the beginning of an enjoyable journey," Paqueta told West Ham's official website.
Hammers boss David Moyes added: "Whilst he will need time to adapt, we're excited about adding another proven international to our squad."
Paqueta scored nine goals and contributed six assists in 35 Ligue 1 appearances last season.
"Last season, West Ham had a very good season and I hope they continue to enjoy more and more good seasons in my time at the club," he added.
"I am excited to pull on the West Ham shirt and show the fans what I can do, to help my team-mates and the club."
