Iran and Uganda sign 4 cooperation documents during President Raeisi visit

Iran and Uganda have signed four cooperation documents during the visit by Iranian President Enrahim Raeisi to the East African nation.

The documents signed between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Uganda included visa waiver, agricultural cooperation, establishment of joint permanent commission.

The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Raeisi and his Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Museveni.

Raeisi arrived in Kampala on Wednesday at the invitation of his Ugandan president.

This was the second stop for the Iranian president’s three-day trip to Africa, which includes Kenya and Zimbabwe.
