Iran president tours arms exhibition at Defense Ministry

Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi has visited an exhibition of Iran's defense industries and arms manufacturing in the Ministry of Defense.

According to a Tuesday report by the IRNA, Iran’s president made the tour during the occasion of National Defense Industry Day.

The expo showcased the latest technological achievements of air, land, and sea weapons, electronic and telecommunication equipment, optics, renewable energies, chemical defense equipment, and food products.

Iran Aviation Industries Organization, the Aerospace Industries Organization, Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research, Etka, Iran Electronics Industries, National Geographical Organization of Iran have showcased their achievements.

Speaking on the sidelines of his visit, Raeisi lauds the achievements showcased in the exhibition, saying that one of the important components of national power is the ability to produce defense equipment.

He added that the country's defense industry and nuclear energy have made great progress despite the strict sanctions imposed on them, and he said that the courage and determination shown by the country's forces led them to achieve these achievements.
