Iran, Saudi Arabia influential states: President Raisi

President Raisi has called for the acceleration of expanding ties between Iran and Saudi Arabia, which are considered important states.
President Raisi
made the remarks in a meeting with Iran's new Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ali-Reza
Enayat before he leaves Tehran for Riyadh.
Underlining
the commitment of the Islamic Republic to expand and strengthen relations with
neighboring countries, the Iranian president called for using existing
capabilities to enhance relationship between the two Muslim nations.
Cooperation
between Iran and Saudi Arabia and increased regional cooperation at the
bilateral and multilateral levels, especially on issues concerning the Islamic
world will raise the status of regional countries, Raisi said.
He also stated that improving regional cooperation will reduce foreign interference in regional affairs.
